  1. attach to my chatGPT account

I pay a monthly fee for chatGPT access ... and it would be useful if this device could attach to it for reference purposes and then it would allow me to ask questions across my content stored in that account as well.

  2. Pocket MCP

Would love to see a Pocket MCP server to access our data within various LLM integrations!

  3. Sync Over WiFi (Pocket Device -> Your WiFi Router)

It would be really awesome if we could configure an access point for pocket to connect to (e.g., your home’s wireless router) for auto syncing to pocket cloud instead of directly to your phone via the app. This would be significantly easier, faster, and additionally an option to have it always sync or on while charging would be incredible! Yeah, battery life would probably take a hit but worth it in my opinion. I saw other idea posts here but they seemed to just be talking about connecting the device to the mobile app via WiFi and NOT the pocket device itself connecting to an access point. Unless I’m missing some aspect of security or hardware limitations, this seems like it would benefit a lot of pocket users who aren’t around their phone all day.

  4. Double Tap to start recording

Double tap to start recording so you don’t turn on Pocket in your pocket.

  5. Trim recorded transcript if you forget to stop recording

Editing transcript is similar but trimming the recording would be a bulk way to edit as well as shrink file size.

  6. Create running to do lists

I would like the ability to create different to do lists, for example a personal one, a work one, a project specific one etc. I have disjointed thoughts through the day so I’d like a quick β€œhey add that I need to renew my library membership to my personal to do list”. Having a bunch of disjointed summaries isn’t very helpful if they can’t connect.

  7. Personal Dictionary to Inform Transcripts

I work in a field with all sorts of strange and unique terms. I would like to add these terms to a 'dictionary' that Pocket considers when generating the transcript. If it hears something close to a word in the dictionary, it should use the dictionary word. Currently it feels like the wild west for the AI to guess the word being used, and often ends up with various incorrect guesses in the transcript.

  8. API access

Access to the API so that other services can access the recordings and summaries in Pocket would be good for integrating with other productivity services.

  9. Split recording into two or more meetings

Sometimes I forget to stop a recording and start it again when a new meeting begins (or don’t have time to). This makes the summaries weird especially when the topics are not related. I would also love to be able to just keep the recoding on all day and then split it into relΓ¨vent chunks or better yet, have the LLM suggest how to split it (maybe based on quiet pauses or which speakers are present) etc.

  10. Background Sync

Manual syncing is fine, but requires user input and also stops if screen turns off. It would be ideal if new recordings could sync in the background automatically.

  11. Ability to export PDF summary without Pocket AI branding

I want to be able to export PDF without branding. I’m not trying to advertise pocket, it’s unprofessional to show this branding. As a paying Pro user I should have the right to export a bare PDF without branding.

  12. View and Update Speakers from Settings

Managing our speaker list is a relatively important task. Currently there's not an intuitive way to access the current speakers. I propose adding a "Speakers" setting, which opens the modal, allowing you to edit existing speakers and add new ones.

  13. Send action items to task manager instead of calendar

Not everyone manages all of their action items in their calendar. I would prefer to be able to send my action items to the task manager I use (todoist, but others may want others, and almost all task managers have API capability to receive tasks) so that actions fit into my already established workflow and aren't lost in summaries inside Pocket. I don't think it is worth Pocket trying to replicate all of the functionality of a fully fledged task management app, but it does make sense to make sure action items aren't lost. Ideally, once sent to the task manager, there would be a link inside the conversation/mind map to the item in the receiving app.

  14. Bigger Font in application

Bigger font in the application. Notifications of wi-fi firmware update are small to read. Making it hard to read transcriptions

  15. Referral/Affiliate

You all are building a great product! I will definitely be a spokesperson to those around me on behalf of Pocket. Would love to give them an extended trial on pro or a discount via referrals! Wouldn't mind some benefit come my way either if they commit 😁 If this is implemented, referral code's should be added to shared memories automatically!
