  1. Listen to meetings that are via headset

Most of my meetings are virtual and I'm wearing a headset. This makes pocket way less useful for me as it's unable to record meetings that are not happening live or if it cannot hear the other people speak. A pocket app that can listen in on meetings or be able to import transcripts would be awesome

  2. Feature Suggestion: Dedicated Haptic Ping for "Find My Pocket"

I have a bad habit. I like to set my pocket down and put things on top of it and then can't find it. The "find my pocket" feature will get you close but doesn't get you to exactly to the device. Currently, the most effective way to locate a lost device within Bluetooth range is by toggling a recording to trigger the haptic buzz. I find myself starting and stopping recordings quite frequently in order just to locate my device. May I suggest adding a dedicated "Ping" or "Locate" button within the Find Pocket screen. This within trigger a i continuous Buzz or a unique pattern. The recording toggles as a workaround is fine but I feel I dedicated toggle or button would be helpful. I feel that this would be a significant Improvement to the find me option. Thank you.

  3. Work with “Find My” App

It would be helpful to be able locate it if misplaced, or to be notified if you leave the device behind. Find My app for iPhone would be really helpful for all Apple Users.

  4. Recording is USB-C cable

Sometimes I am on a call wearing headphones connected to my computer and it is not always feasible to play audio through my speakers. We often have multiple people on a call within our cubicle area so there is a lot of background noise, and our policy is to wear headphones to avoid chaos of everybody utilizing their loudspeakers. It would be great to plug in the Pocket provided USB – C cable from Pocket to the computer and be able to record meetings this way.

  5. Start recording from Apple Watch

How about a companion Watch app, with a watch complication that would allow you to start recording a meeting by tapping the complication on the watch, rather than taking out your phone and using the app. In some meetings with execs or clients, they don't want to see you using your smartphone. Using a watch would provide a more discreet way to start your recording.

  6. auto timeout setting for recordings

So many times I have started a recording only to forget to stop it, resulting in countless hours of wasted recording, battery, worthless and unusable files, and having to fiddle with the impossible to press delete button in the app UI. Please provide a setting to allow recordings to be automatically stopped after a certain amount of time (ie one hour), or at least an option for the device to stop recording after X minutes of silence.

  7. Dashboard swipe left to delete

It would save me many hours if I could swipe a conversation left to on the dashboard to delete accidental recordings, of which I have at least a handful every day.

  8. Add multiple Pocket devices to the same account

This could be a Pro feature, and subscription rates could be adjusted to fit with Pocket’s business model. By enabling this, recordings and summaries from various devices would flow into a unified thread for one account - this will be useful for small owner-operated enterprises so that, for example, engagements from the front desk, the customer service hotline and the customer service agents are recorded by different staff and then transcribed in unified form for central management. It will also support use-cases where individuals use multiple devices for different engagements across an enterprise they operate in, e.g. during parallel meetings, or for telephone calls as part of in-person engagements where both need recording, or where team members participate in simultaneous engagements that are related to the same project - the list goes on & on. Multiple devices under separate accounts could be a short term workaround, but would require separate subscriptions and would require manual integration into a unified summarisation thread, and would therefore not be sustainable in an enterprise environment (or personal for that matter).

  9. Label speakers BEFORE summarizing or Add an easier way to label

Right now, when you sync, there's a button you click to generate a summary and a pop-up happens asking you to choose a template. I feel like here it should also have you label the speakers, so that when it's summarizing it will summarize with names instead of "speaker 3". In order to change it from "speaker 3" to "john" you have to go into the transcript and tap on them. It would make a lot more sense to be able to access the speaker labeling functions quicker and easier.

  10. Sync Over WiFi (Pocket Device -> Your WiFi Router)

It would be really awesome if we could configure an access point for pocket to connect to (e.g., your home’s wireless router) for auto syncing to pocket cloud instead of directly to your phone via the app. This would be significantly easier, faster, and additionally an option to have it always sync or on while charging would be incredible! Yeah, battery life would probably take a hit but worth it in my opinion. I saw other idea posts here but they seemed to just be talking about connecting the device to the mobile app via WiFi and NOT the pocket device itself connecting to an access point. Unless I’m missing some aspect of security or hardware limitations, this seems like it would benefit a lot of pocket users who aren’t around their phone all day.

  11. Automatically add things to my Calendar

I want to have Pocket automatically add things to my calendar and learn what things I want and don't want added. For example, if I just finish a meeting and there are ToDo's, I want them to show up automagically on my calendar. I want to be able to select when they should show up, i.e., immediately, tonight, tomorrow, select a time, etc. Another example, as simple as "Siri (Alexa, etc) remind me to call Mark tomorrow at 9am and discuss xxxx". I want this to happen automagically

  12. Geo Tagging for Location Reminders (shopping, client site meeting, etc)

Uncertain whether the Pocket device hardware supports this, but a few feature ideas: • Receive notifications when driving past a store that carries an item from the shopping list. This works similarly to a feature in the AnyList app currently in use. When arriving at a Client site: • Automatically surface relevant notes from the last meeting, recent emails, and phone calls for a quick pre-meeting refresher. • Optionally, auto-tag the Client and have a note-taking template ready for recording meeting details.

  13. Device Lock

Unintentionally recorded conversations when device is in my pocket. Would like the option to 'lock' it to avoid that.

  14. Speaker Recognition, Transcript Editing, Bulk Organization, and Scalable Workflow Management Improvements

I’ve been heavily using Pocket Record Conversations inside operational workflows, meetings, strategy sessions, assessments, and execution tracking, and honestly it’s become one of my favorite tools for capturing organizational memory and conversations in real time. There are a few friction points I’ve run into around speaker identification and transcript organization, but they honestly feel less like complaints and more like opportunities for future evolution because the platform already has so much potential. One of the biggest workflow challenges right now is speaker attribution in larger meetings and recurring team conversations. The biggest underlying issue is that multiple real people can accidentally get grouped under a single speaker identity, which makes transcript cleanup extremely manual and difficult at scale. Right now, the workflow is mostly: • Rename one speaker globally or • Manually correct transcript sections one at a time The problem is that “rename all” can unintentionally relabel multiple actual people because they were initially merged together under the same speaker label. Once that happens, there’s currently no efficient way to split those speakers back apart across the transcript on either mobile or desktop. This becomes especially difficult in long operational meetings where speaker accuracy matters and recurring voices should ideally become more identifiable over time. A few things that would make a huge difference: • Better recurring voice recognition and speaker fingerprinting • True post-transcription speaker splitting • Ability to isolate and reassign selected transcript ranges without affecting unrelated sections • Better speaker reassignment workflows across both desktop and mobile • Speaker learning/profiles for recurring teams • Confidence indicators where attribution may be uncertain • Dedicated transcript review/validation mode Another area that feels like a major opportunity for growth is the organizational and file management side of the platform. As conversation volume scales, organization becomes just as important as transcription itself. I’d love to see deeper file and folder organization capabilities evolve, especially for users managing large numbers of operational conversations, recurring meetings, assessments, and cross functional workflows. Things that would make a huge difference there: • Nested folder structures/deeper file hierarchy • Bulk tagging and categorization tools • Multi-select organization workflows • Easier grouping of related conversations and recurring meeting threads • Better filtering/search across tags, speakers, projects, or teams • Ability to organize identified speakers or recurring groups more efficiently • Faster bulk management for large transcript libraries The platform already has really strong foundational functionality. It mostly feels like the next evolution is making large scale workflow management, transcript organization, operational retrieval, and institutional memory more scalable and intelligent. Really impressive product overall and excited to see where the platform evolves next. Curious what features or workflow improvements other people would love to see too.
