Feature Ideas
Submit IdeaLifetime Pocket Pro subscription
Can we get an option to buy a lifetime subscription at a deal to pocket pro as early adopters? I see value in the upgrade but hate having subscription fees. Many other products I have used had the lifetime option and got all the features on their device and devices they upgraded to later. Let’s go for premium so we can refer even more to the service and device!!

Notification based on the person with which I’m speaking.
Who hasn’t left a conversation only to recall later that you meant to ask or tell that person something? The idea is to tell Pocket “next time I speak to Bob remind me to ask XYZ.” When Pocket recognizes that I’m speaking with Bob, I get a notification(smart watch ideally) reminder to bring up the topic.

Automatically add things to my Calendar
I want to have Pocket automatically add things to my calendar and learn what things I want and don't want added. For example, if I just finish a meeting and there are ToDo's, I want them to show up automagically on my calendar. I want to be able to select when they should show up, i.e., immediately, tonight, tomorrow, select a time, etc. Another example, as simple as "Siri (Alexa, etc) remind me to call Mark tomorrow at 9am and discuss xxxx". I want this to happen automagically

Listen to meetings that are via headset
Most of my meetings are virtual and I'm wearing a headset. This makes pocket way less useful for me as it's unable to record meetings that are not happening live or if it cannot hear the other people speak. A pocket app that can listen in on meetings or be able to import transcripts would be awesome

Recording is USB-C cable
Sometimes I am on a call wearing headphones connected to my computer and it is not always feasible to play audio through my speakers. We often have multiple people on a call within our cubicle area so there is a lot of background noise, and our policy is to wear headphones to avoid chaos of everybody utilizing their loudspeakers. It would be great to plug in the Pocket provided USB – C cable from Pocket to the computer and be able to record meetings this way.

Actionable Tasks synced with Microsoft To do list
The ability to 2-way synchronize the Actionable tasks to a list in Microsoft To dos would be huge. 1 way sync would still be a big win. That is what I use for my productivity system, and to have actions placed there’s with a link in the description to the conversation they from would be a game changer. This could be done by syncing with the general “Tasks” list. Added ability to pick the list, or a list that is called Pocket Actionable that gets created and tasks pushed to - all would be great options.

Speaker Recognition, Transcript Editing, Bulk Organization, and Scalable Workflow Management Improvements
I’ve been heavily using Pocket Record Conversations inside operational workflows, meetings, strategy sessions, assessments, and execution tracking, and honestly it’s become one of my favorite tools for capturing organizational memory and conversations in real time. There are a few friction points I’ve run into around speaker identification and transcript organization, but they honestly feel less like complaints and more like opportunities for future evolution because the platform already has so much potential. One of the biggest workflow challenges right now is speaker attribution in larger meetings and recurring team conversations. The biggest underlying issue is that multiple real people can accidentally get grouped under a single speaker identity, which makes transcript cleanup extremely manual and difficult at scale. Right now, the workflow is mostly: • Rename one speaker globally or • Manually correct transcript sections one at a time The problem is that “rename all” can unintentionally relabel multiple actual people because they were initially merged together under the same speaker label. Once that happens, there’s currently no efficient way to split those speakers back apart across the transcript on either mobile or desktop. This becomes especially difficult in long operational meetings where speaker accuracy matters and recurring voices should ideally become more identifiable over time. A few things that would make a huge difference: • Better recurring voice recognition and speaker fingerprinting • True post-transcription speaker splitting • Ability to isolate and reassign selected transcript ranges without affecting unrelated sections • Better speaker reassignment workflows across both desktop and mobile • Speaker learning/profiles for recurring teams • Confidence indicators where attribution may be uncertain • Dedicated transcript review/validation mode Another area that feels like a major opportunity for growth is the organizational and file management side of the platform. As conversation volume scales, organization becomes just as important as transcription itself. I’d love to see deeper file and folder organization capabilities evolve, especially for users managing large numbers of operational conversations, recurring meetings, assessments, and cross functional workflows. Things that would make a huge difference there: • Nested folder structures/deeper file hierarchy • Bulk tagging and categorization tools • Multi-select organization workflows • Easier grouping of related conversations and recurring meeting threads • Better filtering/search across tags, speakers, projects, or teams • Ability to organize identified speakers or recurring groups more efficiently • Faster bulk management for large transcript libraries The platform already has really strong foundational functionality. It mostly feels like the next evolution is making large scale workflow management, transcript organization, operational retrieval, and institutional memory more scalable and intelligent. Really impressive product overall and excited to see where the platform evolves next. Curious what features or workflow improvements other people would love to see too.

Allow the abolity to pause and resume recordings
We should be able to pause a dictation and resume it later, even if you can't do another recording in between. This would be useful for meetings that are briefly adjourned or for things like fitness tracking where you may wish to note each exercise in detail as you do it (or any similar punctuated data tracking)

TODO App microsoft
I would love if you could integrate TODO from microsoft

Better mic quality
Using more and higher quality mics: current audio quality is much worse than plain iPhone recording which leads to suboptimal source material to label and transcribe. IMO, best quality microphone configuration should be a number one feature.

Auto-End Meetings on Desktop App
Would be nice if the desktop app ended after the meeting was over. Most notetakers end after a zoom call or google meet is finished.

Receive a notification if long amounts of silence are detected
I regularly forget to stop recording after my meeting, and end up with lots of extra silence recorded at the end. It would be great if a notification would pop up on the phone asking/saying “it’s been quiet for a while.. continue recording?”, or something like that

Capturing multiple conversations in a board room / class room setting
I'm often in meetings where multiple conversations are happening at the same time. Of course, this is unattended but it happens frequently. Usually one conversation is happening in one area of the room and another conversation (break out) on the other side or somewhere else in the room. The result currently is a a jumbled timeline and garbled overlap. Humans have the incredible ability of focusing on one conversation while ignoring the rest. I'm hoping the device can at least do that (somehow) but ideally capture both simultaneous conversations. I've tried two pocket devices, one close to each conversation but it doesn't work.

Auto detect language
Maybe it is just me, but I do tend to miss the correct language setting - almost on a daily basis. If it is not possible to change automatically maybe a notification stating “ooops, seems to be a mix up in language selection”?

Be able to disable to do tasks for meeting at the start of recording
Add a toggle before starting a recording to enable or disable automatic task generation/syncing. In meetings where action items belong to other attendees, I only need a summary and want to avoid cluttering my personal task list with to-dos that aren't meant for me.
