In reading through the community chat, it appears there is no way to listen to the audio files on the device itself. I have a similar device I can do this with and it's very helpful as I may record several different things each day one right after the other without stopping to name the files. During my review time, I like to listen to the beginning of the conversation to see if I even need to keep the file (and have it transcribed, summarized and mind-mapped) and then transfer it to my iPhone or Mac.

Listen to Recording + Jump to Time in Audio via Transcript
For instance pressing on a timestamp in the transcript will bring you to the place in the recording. This would allow you easily identify voices and see who said what. Sometimes if you have a very long recording, it can be a slog or you can completely forget who mentioned/said what based on only the text context.

Sync Over WiFi (Pocket Device -> Your WiFi Router)
It would be really awesome if we could configure an access point for pocket to connect to (e.g., your home’s wireless router) for auto syncing to pocket cloud instead of directly to your phone via the app. This would be significantly easier, faster, and additionally an option to have it always sync or on while charging would be incredible! Yeah, battery life would probably take a hit but worth it in my opinion. I saw other idea posts here but they seemed to just be talking about connecting the device to the mobile app via WiFi and NOT the pocket device itself connecting to an access point. Unless I’m missing some aspect of security or hardware limitations, this seems like it would benefit a lot of pocket users who aren’t around their phone all day.

Add a widget for iPhones for “My Checklist”
Would love to see a widget for Pocket. Especially for “my checklist” to use as a to do list on my screen. Or just have a widget in general.

API access
Access to the API so that other services can access the recordings and summaries in Pocket would be good for integrating with other productivity services.

View and Update Speakers from Settings
Managing our speaker list is a relatively important task. Currently there's not an intuitive way to access the current speakers. I propose adding a "Speakers" setting, which opens the modal, allowing you to edit existing speakers and add new ones.

Add native support for self-hosted & open-source LLMs via OpenAI-compatible endpoints (bring your own model)
Allow Pocket users to connect any open-source LLM (Llama 3, Mistral, Gemma, Phi-3, etc.) running on a self-hosted or third-party OpenAI-compatible endpoint as a fully supported AI provider alongside the default models

Listen to the audio over the app (vs on device already suggested)
I am suggesting this because i have a proven method with these devices and it's the only thing holding me back as far as carrying Pocket everywhere. I have to admit, Plaud is still on the back of my phone although i love the pocket device so much more. The color (i got blue), the usb c port vs something proprietary, and the app is very nice looking and easy to use. I find a lot of the time, Pocket names my recordings incorrectly though or in a way that i can't tell what the recording was about. This means until i get back to my computer and listen, i can't put the right name on it. I'm a list maker too so there are some mornings i hit record and record 10 different things, each separate in purpose, when i tried using Pocket all day, i ended up with a list of confusing titles. As an example, with Plaud, I make 10 to 15 recordings before lunch on a good day. When i have time, i listen to the recordings on the Plaud app and rename the titles to something I will know at a glance. When I get to my computer or look on the app, everything is listed in words I know and understand. Without a way to verify the audio, i can't change the name, and that pushes all my to dos, ideas, and things that must be done later into the day (some things needed to be done in the morning). Oh, some may say, why don't you look at the transcript? Some of my recordings are too short and don't get transcribed. That's my real workflow. I have to imagine other people are similar, thanks!!!

Background Sync
Manual syncing is fine, but requires user input and also stops if screen turns off. It would be ideal if new recordings could sync in the background automatically.

Trim recorded transcript if you forget to stop recording
Editing transcript is similar but trimming the recording would be a bulk way to edit as well as shrink file size.

Ability to export PDF summary without Pocket AI branding
I want to be able to export PDF without branding. I’m not trying to advertise pocket, it’s unprofessional to show this branding. As a paying Pro user I should have the right to export a bare PDF without branding.

Microsoft Outlook mail and calendar support
I’d really like full Microsoft integration with outlook, email and calendar. If I’m in a conversation that requires a follow up email I’d like for that email to be drafted based on the conversation any appointments or reminders to be added to my Outlook tasks.

Device Lock
Unintentionally recorded conversations when device is in my pocket. Would like the option to 'lock' it to avoid that.

Continue Recording
Loving the new merge option to connect multiple different recordings into one, however it does create a new "merged" memory rather than just adding into one. Proposing a new idea that could work in addition to what's already rolled out. What if there's an option when you're viewing a memory from the app to hit record and basically start adding to the recording/transcript that's already there. Then the summary could regenerate and it could be a seamless addition to the memory that's already there. Since there's already an option to prompt the device to start recording from the app, I imagine this wouldn't be too technically difficult. The merge option is great for when you're recording from the device itself and have multiple separate recordings already. This option would allow users to pick which memory they want to add to from the app, so be more selective, and then continue recording directly to that audio. Both together would allow users to continue building on and integrating ideas in different ways.

Create a skin or edge bumper
While the Pocket is attached to my phone, I would like to have a protective element on the device so it doesn't scratch when placing the phone down screen-side up. I'm thinking either a thin "skin" or perhaps a silicone edge bumper. it can also serve as a non-slip element when using the device independent of my phone.
