  1. Mindmaps: make optional

Seems like mindmaps are more eye candy than helpful on most notes. I'd like to be able to opt-in to adding one over having it default on for every note.

  2. Support AirPods and other Bluetooth headsets as an external microphone for Pocket recordings

I’m currently testing Pocket intensively and already see a lot of value for my daily work, especially as a central place for thoughts, notes and action items. One feature would make Pocket significantly easier for me to integrate into my daily workflow: support for AirPods or other Bluetooth headsets as the audio input. I travel a lot and frequently work from my car, airports and airplanes, where I almost exclusively use AirPods. Currently, I need to hold or position the Pocket device itself to record something. This is inconvenient while travelling and, particularly while driving, not ideal from a safety perspective. My ideal workflow would be very simple: press the button on Pocket to start a recording, while the actual audio is captured through the microphone of my connected AirPods. Being able to record phone calls conducted through AirPods would also be extremely valuable, although I assume call recording is already a known use case. Is support for Bluetooth microphones / AirPods something that is currently on your roadmap?

  3. Listen to meetings that are via headset

Most of my meetings are virtual and I'm wearing a headset. This makes pocket way less useful for me as it's unable to record meetings that are not happening live or if it cannot hear the other people speak. A pocket app that can listen in on meetings or be able to import transcripts would be awesome

  4. Label speakers BEFORE summarizing or Add an easier way to label

Right now, when you sync, there's a button you click to generate a summary and a pop-up happens asking you to choose a template. I feel like here it should also have you label the speakers, so that when it's summarizing it will summarize with names instead of "speaker 3". In order to change it from "speaker 3" to "john" you have to go into the transcript and tap on them. It would make a lot more sense to be able to access the speaker labeling functions quicker and easier.

  5. Dark Theme for Pocket Desktop App

Feature Add a Dark Mode option to the Pocket Desktop application, similar to the dark mode that is already available in the Pocket mobile application. Description The Pocket mobile app already supports Dark Mode, but the Desktop app currently does not offer the same option. Adding Dark Mode to the Desktop experience would provide a more consistent experience across devices and improve usability, especially for users who spend extended periods working with Pocket recordings and transcripts. Why this would be helpful Reduced eye strain: A darker interface can be more comfortable when using Pocket for long periods, particularly in low-light environments.Better consistency across devices: Users who have enabled Dark Mode on their phone would have the same visual experience when switching to the Desktop app.Improved nighttime usability: Dark Mode is particularly useful when reviewing recordings, transcripts, notes, or other content in the evening without a bright white interface.Better integration with system preferences: Ideally, the Desktop app could support Light / Dark / System Default, automatically following the user's operating-system appearance setting.Improved accessibility and personalization: Giving users control over the interface theme allows them to choose the display mode that best fits their environment and visual preferences. Suggested implementation Add an Appearance or Theme setting in the Desktop app with: Light ModeDark ModeSystem Default – automatically follow Windows/macOS dark-mode settings The implementation should cover the entire Desktop interface, including navigation, recording lists, transcript views, search, settings, and other application screens. Since Dark Mode is already available in the Pocket mobile application, the existing design language could potentially be reused to maintain visual consistency between the mobile and Desktop experiences. Expected benefit This would be a relatively small UX improvement that brings the Desktop app closer to feature parity with the mobile application while making Pocket more comfortable for extended daily use.

  6. 2 emails for summaries

There needs to be a better way to have a work and personal email to send summaries to. I don't want work emails going to personal and i don't want personal going to work. So, while you can have the Pocket account setup with one email (personal), being able to send summaries to multiple emails depending on the call is important. Should be a very easy feature to add.

  7. Improve the audio quality of recordings on Pocket Device

The audio files says 48 kHz, but the sound itself stops dead at about 4,000 Hz. Above that there's basically nothing. That cliff edge is the signature of audio captured at 8 kHz (old phone-call quality) and then converted up to 48 kHz afterwards. Converting up can't add back detail that was never captured, so you get the file size of good audio with the sound of a phone call. For reference, clear speech needs content up to at least 8 to 12 kHz. That's where the "s", "t" and "f" sounds and all the airiness live. Losing it is exactly what "muffled" sounds like. How can I trust the ai to transcribe effecitlvy if the quality of the recordings are so low

  8. Differentiate haptic feedback for start and stop recording.

There should be different haptic feedback for start and stop upon click. Similar to alarming and disarming the car (one beep VS two beeps) users would easy differentiate between start and stop of the recording. It happened a couple times to me when I wasn't sure if I started recording or stopped long meeting recording. So a different buzz VS buzz-buzz would be a huge user experience improvement.

  9. Most important feature: Upgraded customer service

Copying my review below. I'm livid after a month of them refusing service while under warranty. With LAUGHABLY DISMAL customer service. Updated 10-2-26: I am truly in disbelief at the absolute ineptitude of their service for a device I was promised an 18 month warranty for. I liked it and just wanted the replacement under warranty so I could remain a paying and subscribing customer. For a device that cost me $100 and probably less for them, they lost what could have been a long term customer. I liked Pocket when it worked. But when my device failed, getting help turned into repeated troubleshooting, a refund offer that was withdrawn after I accepted it, and a replacement offer that later came with an extra $40 charge. I purchased Pocket for $99 on June 30, 2025. When shipping was delayed, the company promised “18 months of total coverage, automatically applied.” I received the device in October 2025. On September 5, 2026, I reported that it would not connect or sync despite resets, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone and other troubleshooting. Support said they would review the warranty situation and that “you won't need to repeat any of it.” On September 9, I reported that it had also stopped recording and explicitly asked for a replacement. I supplied the requested video on September 10. Support acknowledged it and confirmed: “I've confirmed your device is within its 1-year warranty (delivered October 2025).” That was their own confirmation of coverage, even apart from the earlier 18-month promise. On September 12, they said the issue had been resolved on their end. It hadn’t. I reported continued failure on September 14. More reset-and-pairing instructions followed on September 15 and again September 18. The company eventually acknowledged the repetition itself: “You were asked to repeat troubleshooting you had already completed, including receiving the same reset instructions twice. That shouldn’t have happened.” On September 18, they finally wrote: “We’re sending you a replacement Pocket, and we’ll share the tracking details once it ships.” They also offered a free month of Pro. A separate email provided return instructions and said the replacement would be created after the courier’s first scan. That first firm replacement promise came more than eight days after my explicit request and nearly thirteen days after my initial failure report. A promise was not a shipped replacement, and the dispute continued. By then, I had bought a PLAUD replacement. To be fair, I was also slow to reply during part of this exchange and apologized; not every gap was on their side. Then came the clearest reversal. On September 24, support offered me “a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement Pocket,” saying they would “take care of it right away.” On September 27, I chose the refund. On September 28, the reply referred to replacement instructions instead. On September 29, another representative acknowledged that I wanted a refund but wrote: “Since the order is outside the refund window, we're unable to offer a refund.” They already knew when I purchased the device. Why offer a full refund, ask me to choose, and then refuse the option I selected? That September 29 email offered a replacement “as a goodwill gesture” and requested my address and phone number. No additional device charge was disclosed. I supplied the information. On October 1, I was then told: “Pocket is currently priced at $139 USD, compared with your original purchase price of $99 USD, so there is a $40 difference for the replacement unit.” They asked me to agree before sending an invoice. Their explanation was that the price had increased. They did not identify an upgrade or a different product. On October 2, I refused the replacement and any invoice. After 27 days of correspondence about the failure, this had ended with an additional payment condition and my refusal, rather than an agreed resolution. I want to be accurate: an earlier, separate dispute about recording-history limits was resolved, and I thanked them for fixing it. This review concerns the later device failure and how they handled it. Repeated troubleshooting after being told I would not have to repeat it. A refund explicitly offered and then withdrawn after I accepted it. A replacement offered, followed by a new charge after they requested my shipping information. That is why I no longer trust their customer service and would not buy Pocket again.

  10. Lifetime Pocket Pro subscription

Can we get an option to buy a lifetime subscription at a deal to pocket pro as early adopters? I see value in the upgrade but hate having subscription fees. Many other products I have used had the lifetime option and got all the features on their device and devices they upgraded to later. Let’s go for premium so we can refer even more to the service and device!!

  11. Work with “Find My” App

It would be helpful to be able locate it if misplaced, or to be notified if you leave the device behind. Find My app for iPhone would be really helpful for all Apple Users.

  12. Automatically add things to my Calendar

I want to have Pocket automatically add things to my calendar and learn what things I want and don't want added. For example, if I just finish a meeting and there are ToDo's, I want them to show up automagically on my calendar. I want to be able to select when they should show up, i.e., immediately, tonight, tomorrow, select a time, etc. Another example, as simple as "Siri (Alexa, etc) remind me to call Mark tomorrow at 9am and discuss xxxx". I want this to happen automagically

  13. Start recording from Apple Watch

How about a companion Watch app, with a watch complication that would allow you to start recording a meeting by tapping the complication on the watch, rather than taking out your phone and using the app. In some meetings with execs or clients, they don't want to see you using your smartphone. Using a watch would provide a more discreet way to start your recording.

  14. Silent mode

while I love the buzz when you start and stop recoding there are times when you need absolute silence (no buzz). Can there be an option to toggle a silent mode on?

  15. Auto On when call comes in

When Pocket is toggled to call, it will automatically record calls without pushing "Record" manually
